If he had to walk a mile in my shoes
everybody's got a line they gotta draw in the sand.
would he run or take flight
or would he stand and fight
or would he hang up on a cross
and sing the blues.
Well I got my doubts and questions
and sometimes i don't give a damn
I got my reservations...
bout Father God and Uncle Sam
...all this killing and bloodspillin
it don't make no sense to me
all i want to do is be free.
