THE PEOPLE OF THE BOOK

The people of THE BOOK speak often of heaven but know nothing of the heavens or for that matter even the earth they worship the LAW but know nothing of the SPIRIT. They worship the Word but have forgotten the essence that came before the existence of words. They claim that the Word came before the Light. They claim to possess the knowledge of ‘good’ and ‘evil’ and proclaim their arbitrary law as truth. They build temples to justice but know not what it means. They hide behind walls created by their own hands driven out of the garden by their own fears clutching fig leaves to cover their nakedness...toiling painfully beneath the sun to appease the wrath of a god who requires blood for the remission of sins.
